Course Outline

Students learn how to install, maintain, and fix residential and industrial electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. To be utilized as an electrician, preparing including two hands-on experience and gaining from experienced specialists is an unquestionable requirement. Here at IIT, students get precisely that. This course prepares individuals with the information and abilities required for work in employment in the residential and industrial electrical trade. The educational modules offers a fundamental system of electrical theory and gives the hands-on abilities expected to install, service and maintain electrical equipment in residential and industrial settings. This course incorporates guidance on electrical safety, trade tools, electrical theory, common residential wiring installations, troubleshooting and repairing residential service, determining circuit load calculations and NEC Code compliance.

Enrollment into the school to study any of the courses listed is essentially Anyone with the passion of studying any course with least capability, graduates from Junior High Schools, Senior High School. They experience a course of study for four (4) years and three (3) years respectively and they are confirmed by the Technical Examination Unit of the GES and National Board for Professional and Technical Examination.
Our courses comes in three(3) Categories:

  • Apprenticeship Level* (6-12 Month's)
  • Standard Level* (4 Years)
  • Advance Level* (3-12 Month's)

    This course comprises both theory and practicals needed to install, service and maintain electrical equipment in residential and industrial settings.

    Theory:
  • Apply safe working practices
  • Comply environment regulation and housekeeping
  • Prepare profile with an appropriate accuracy as per drawing.
  • Prepare electrical wire joints, carry out soldering, crimping and measure insulation resistance of underground cable.
  • Verify characteristics of electrical and magnetic circuits.
  • Install, test and maintenance of batteries and solar cell.
  • Estimate, Assemble, install and test wiring system.
  • Plan and prepare Earthing installation. Plan and execute electrical illumination system and test.
  • Select and perform measurements using analog / digital instruments
